Some people are born into respect. Others have to fight for it, earn it, and demand it. My new track, “Demand Respect,” is for every person who’s been overlooked, underestimated, or told they’d never be something — and chose to prove them wrong instead of proving a point with words.
This song isn’t just music. It’s a war cry. A mirror held up to a society that only respects you after you make it, not while you’re grinding. “Demand Respect” speaks for those who’ve had to learn the hard way that loyalty, strength, and survival don’t come with handshakes — they come with scars and silence.
When I wrote this, I was in a place of reflection and power. I had been through situations that changed the way I viewed people and how I viewed myself. This record is a declaration: I’m not asking for respect. I’m taking it. And anyone who’s been through pain, betrayal, or doubt knows exactly what that means.
There’s a part of this track that hits especially hard when you’ve experienced fake love, envy, or being taken for granted. This is for everyone who’s ever walked into a room and felt like they had to prove themselves just to breathe. Not anymore. You don’t prove — you just move, and let your energy speak.
